The Elder Care Giving Programme at SALT University College is a new initiative that is designed to provide comprehensive training in elder caregiving, equipping participants with essential skills to support the elderly and individuals with special care needs in Ghana and abroad.
The Elder Care Giving Programme begins with an 8-week intensive short course, scheduled to start on 16th Agust 2025. Classes will be held in person on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, providing participants with essential skills in elder care. The course fee includes a registration cost of GHS 100.00 and a tuition fee of GHS 3,900.00, with flexible payment plans available to ease financial constraints. To encourage participation, a referral incentive is offered, granting 5% compensation on the tuition fees of any referred student upon full payment.
Beyond the short course, the programme will expand to include a Standard Certification Course, a six-month programme designed for professional caregivers seeking in-depth training, and a Comprehensive Diploma Program, a nine-month advanced training course for those pursuing a long-term career in elder care.
