About the Programme
The MA Leadership and Management Programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, experience, and practical skills required to become effective and transformational leaders in today’s complex and rapidly changing environment.
The programme prepares students to take on new leadership roles, enhance their emotional intelligence and engagement capabilities, address complex problems and challenges, and lead meaningful organisational change.
Through the programme, students develop the capacity to:
- Create a vision that others can follow and support
- Solve complex problems and challenges in organisational and professional settings
- Engage others to enhance performance and achieve shared goals
- Lead organisational change efforts effectively
- Think and communicate strategically in diverse leadership contexts
The programme combines leadership principles with practical management approaches, equipping students with the knowledge and perspectives needed to lead people, organisations, and communities effectively.
Accreditation
SALT University College (SUC) is accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to run Master’s and Ph.D Programmes.

Duration
All Master of Arts degree programmes at SALT University College run for a period of 12 months.

Admission Timelines
Applications for the MA Leadership and Management Programme are accepted during two admission windows each year:
- March Intake
- October Intake
Prospective students are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for processing their applications and completing the admissions process.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the programme is based on the following requirements:
- Completed Application Form
- Application Fee
- Certified True Copy of Bachelor’s Degree — minimum of Second-Class Lower Division.
- Applicants with a Third-Class Degree: Applicants with a Third-Class degree can still apply if they hold a postgraduate certificate, a professional certificate, or have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the relevant field. These exceptions are, however, subject to an assessment by a designated committee.
